Whatever you think about yourself, whatever you think you can or cannot do is what will happen. It is a fight to keep your mindset positive, to trust the creative power of all things good for your life. So many people trust in the wrath rather than the love. I’ve been up and I’ve been down. The down periods taught me about my mindset. I had to change my thought patterns to keep walking in the good. To trust the God given compass within to guide me to my places of good and purpose. So how do we keep our minds straight in this time. With all that is going on around us try to remove the negativity. Don’t watch too much news but check in a couple of times a day to stay updated. Are you homeschooling your kids during this time? Make sure that you take your children out to get some fresh air and exercise. Break up studies with family time or just open conversation.
Meditation is good for the mind and soul. Study books or poem that keep you uplifted. Remember to keep your minds on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. This is found in a book I love to read Philippians 4:8.
Remember that we as women are leaned upon to nurture and love especially in hard times but in order to do that we must strengthen our selves through inner love. You are beautiful, strong and worthy of self care.
