Healing Anxiety’s Plague
Author: Evette Bradley
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.Philippians 4:6
When Paul wrote this scripture, he was speaking to the Philippian church. But these principles apply to all believers. When we have difficulties, praying should be the first thing we do. We should also trust GOD to answer in HIS time and in HIS way. He has the power to change any situation, but HE will not be limited to how we think HE should answer our prayer.
God does not promise to change every situation to our liking. HE does promise to give us peace during any situation. In other words, GOD may or may not change the circumstance, but HE will change our dispostion toward it so that it does not cause us inner turmoil.
Trust GOD’S plan. Remember, it’s working for your good.
“And if I never had a problem I wouldn’t know that He could solve it!”
